ESCI is excited to organize the 58th ESCI Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) in Barcelona, Spain, June 5-7 2024.

ESCI membership is free www.esci.eu.com.

* Early Career Scientist: For individuals matching the ESCI definition of an Early Career Scientist:
- Not older than 40 years (on the first day of the congress)
- Residence of Europe

** One Day Fee: Registration for one day of the congress (June 5th, 6th or 7th)

The hotel Sants is very well located in Barcelona, it is next to one of the main Train stations in Barcelona. Two beautiful parks in walking distance (Parque de la España Industrial and Parque Joan Miró) as well as a lot of typical Spanish commerces and restaurants.

As a winner of the Travel Grant, your accommodation for single and double use will be 150€ + city tax.

Double room

In case you would like to book this room type, we kindly ask you to register your needs and the name of your companion.

For the payment, you could directly pay the total amount or pay the half of it and your colleague the other one. In this case, it is very important to indicate the name of the person you will be sharing it with.

Barceló Sants

Situated above Barcelona Sants Train Station, Barceló Sants offers a subtle outer space theme throughout. Minimalist rooms feature free Wi-Fi, rain showers, and large windows with city views. Air-conditioned rooms feature modern décor and designer furniture. Each has an iPod dock, flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom comes with a hairdryer. This design hotel includes a fitness centre and sauna. Massage is available. The hotel has 2 restaurants. Oxygen Restaurant serves a healthy buffet and Hydrogen Restaurant offers more avant-garde cuisine. The hotel's Orbital Bar serves a selection of cocktails, gins and vodkas. You can also try typical tapas in the many nearby bars and restaurants. Sants Train and Metro Station offers direct access to Barcelona Airport, and the historic city centre, 3.5 km away. There are also high-speed AVE services to Madrid and international trains. There is a 24-hour front desk, and you can hire a car from the tour desk. On-site parking is available for an extra charge and the hotel has a Wi-Fi zone.

FOR BANK TRANSFER PAYMENTS

Click on the Bank Transfer option and you will be redirected to Thank You page. Afterwards you will receive the final invoice on your email address. Payments shall be processed within 2 days after the registration issue date. Your registration vill be automatically cancelled if no payment is received. We would highly appreciate it if you could send us a copy of the receipt in the following 2 days, to ensure the payment has been made and to avoid the cancellation of your registration.

• All payments will be made in EUR. All bank fees / commissions are payable by the sender.

• Your registration will be confirmed when Bco Congresos has received the payment.
