You are about to register for the 47th European Physical Society Conference on Plasma Physics (EPS2020) that will be held in Sitges (Barcelona) from June 21 to 25, 2021.

IMPORTANT REMARKS: Please note that if you are a travel agency, you should enter the e-mail address of the persons attending the meeting, so they can receive the corresponding documentation (certificates, relevant information, etc). This registration is only valid for one person. If you wish to register more than two people as a group please click here.

IMPORTANT: After you complete this registration form you will automatically receive an invoice with all the services purchased. If you wish to receive a separate invoice for each service please only use this form to register and book your accommodation and additional services later on through the Technical Secretariat (epsplasma2020@bcocongresos.com). Please ensure your billing details are correct. There will be a 50 Euro + VAT charge for the reissue of any invoice.

From June 12 2020: Late fee

IMPORTANT: Registration fees are in Euro (€) and include VAT (21% in 2019). The fees include access to all scientific sessions, coffee breaks and welcome cocktail. Lunch is not included. Check the fees here.

EPS MEMBERSHIP: Delegates are entitled to register for EPS 2020 at the reduced EPS member fee only if they are:
  • Individual EPS member.
  • Individual member of EPS Member Societies. Check the list in the EPS website at the Member Societies page.
  • Individual members of EPS Collaborating Societies. Check the list in the EPS website at the Collaborating Societies page.

Employees of Institutions which are EPS Associate Member are NOT ipso facto entitled to register for EPS 2020 at the reduced EPS Individual Member fee.

STUDENT STATUS: For a delegate to be considered a student:
  • She/he must be currently enrolled in a Ph.D./master programme in her/his affiliated institution.
  • The registration form must be accompanied by a copy of valid student ID or by an official letter signed by the student's supervisor or head of the department. Students shall be asked to provide the ID or the letter during the registration process. If no proof is delivered, the fee is raised to the regular fee.

 ACCOMMODATION

IMPORTANT: Please be aware of heavy rush-hour traffic in the Barcelona area. We recommend staying at the conference headquarters hotel or a hotel close to it in Sitges, and arriving on Sunday the 21 June because of the early start of the conference in the morning on the 22 June.

In order to confirm you reservation a two-night deposit payment is required. The outstanding amount of the remaining nights will be paid directly to the hotel reception at check-out. The amount shown includes breakfast and current VAT (10% in 2019).

TOURIST TAX: Sitges' tourist tax is 0,99 EUR per person per night (VAT included).

Please note that this venue has an indoor restaurant with a maximum capacity of 300 people and an outdoor space with a maximum capacity of up to 700 people. The idea is having dinner at the outdoor space but this will depend on the weather; therefore, the initial number of tickets that will be sold is 300 and a waiting list will be set after selling the 300 tickets. On Monday, June 22nd we will be able to confirm the outdoor option and we will contact all those attendees that are on waiting list so that they can finalize the purchase of the ticket.

Terms and Conditions
FOR REGISTRATION AND PAID SOCIAL EVENTS: Cancellation must be notified in writing by email to BCO Congresos (epsplasma2020@bcocongresos.com). In case of cancellation, the following penalties will be applied: Up to 6 weeks prior to the conference (11 May 2020) and upon receipt of a written cancellation, a refund of fees, minus a 25% of administrative charge, will be processed. No refund will be granted if the cancellation is done less than 6 weeks before the conference start date. FOR ACCOMMODATION: Any change or cancellation of the reservation must be sent in writing by email to BCO Congresos (epsplasma2020@bcocongresos.com). In case of cancellation, the following cancellations policies will apply: Before 1 May 2020 payment will be refunded without penalty. No cancellation will apply in the reduction of nights From 2 May until 1 June 2020, the two-night deposit will be applied as penalty. No cancellation will apply in the reduction of nights. In the event of cancellation/reductions in the number of nights from/on 2 June 2020, the entire booking period will be charged. In case of no show, the entire period will be charged. INVOICING: Please ensure your billing details are correct. There will be a 50 Euro + VAT charge for the reissue of any invoice.
