Any cancellation/modification should be sent in writing to the registration team. Reimbursements will be processed one month after the Symposium. Please note that credit card companies do not return the credit card fees in case of reimbursement.
Cancellation policies for registration
- Cancellations received before/on January 7 will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid except 50 EUR as management fee.
- Cancellations received from January 7 will not be entitled to a refund.
Name changes
Can be made at no additional cost if requested in writing to the Technical Secretariat (dystonia2027@bcocongresos.com).

However, the DYSTONIA 2027 Symposium and its agents reserve the right to alter or cancel, without prior notice, any arrangements, timetables, plans, or other items relating directly or indirectly to the congress, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. DYSTONIA 2027 and its agents are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused because of such modifications and/or cancellation. Delegates are advised to take out their own travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions as the congress does not cover individuals against cancellation of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.
Name Change
Name changes for both registrations and accommodation bookings can be made at no additional cost, provided they are requested in writing via email to: dystonia2027@bcocongresos.com.
Cancellation policies for accommodation and reduction of nights
-Any cancellation/modification should be sent in writing to the registration and housing team. Reimbursements will be processed after the Symposium.
-Please note that hotels will not accept any changes directly.
-Cancellations received before 6 November 2026 will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid except 100 AUD as management fee per room. There will be no penalty for the reduction in the number of nights.
-Cancellations received before 6 January 2027 will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid except for 2 nights per room. There will be no penalty for the reduction in the number of nights.
-Cancellations received on/from 7 January 2027 will not be entitled to a refund. Reductions on nights are not refundable.
-In case of a no-show we are legally authorized to charge the entire stay as initially booked.
