Ertan Saridogan is a Professor of Gynaecological Surgery at University College London and a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Minimal Access Surgery at University College London Hospitals. He is the current President of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy and is a former President of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy. He is the former Editor-in-Chief of Facts, Views and Vision: Journal of the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy. He has been a member of the ESHRE Endometriosis Guideline Development Group, and is one of the authors of the 2005, 2013 and 2022 guidelines. He has co-authored more than 180 peer-reviewed publications, edited 3 books and written more than 30 book chapters.

Dr. Nucelio Lemos, MD, PhD is a Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto (Mount Sinai Hospital and Women’s College Hospital), Friedrichsen-Cooper Chair of Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain and an internationally recognized leader in complex endometriosis surgery and chronic pelvic pain. Trained in gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, urogynecology, and Neuropelveology, he is a pioneer in nerve-sparing radical pelvic surgery and in the diagnosis and treatment of intrapelvic nerve entrapments associated with deep endometriosis.
Dr. Lemos founded one of the world’s first multidisciplinary Neuropelveology centers and has played a key role in translating advanced pelvic neuroanatomy into reproducible surgical techniques that reduce morbidity while improving functional outcomes. His work bridges gynecology, urology, colorectal surgery, neurology, and pain medicine, with a particular focus on refractory pelvic pain, pudendal neuralgia, and complex endometriosis.
An active clinician-scientist, he leads international collaborations on nerve-sparing endometriosis surgery, advanced imaging, neuromodulation, and AI-driven diagnostic tools for chronic pelvic pain. Dr. Lemos has served in major leadership roles within AAGL, ICS, ESGE, and endometriosis societies worldwide and is a frequent invited speaker at international congresses. His career is dedicated to redefining endometriosis care through anatomical precision, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovation.
