Unveiling new molecular markers of Functional Tricuspid Regurgitation in a new percutaneous non-invasive porcine model
14:20 - 14:35Biography
Claudia González Cucharero studied Biomedicine at the Francisco de Vitoria University with a Master's Degree in Immunology at the Complutense University. She carried out research stays at the LUMC (Leiden, Netherlands) in the Cardiovascular Surgery service and at the Gregorio Marañón Health Research Institute (Madrid, Spain) in the Immunophysiology service.
She is currently part of the Cardiovascular Research Unit, directed by Dr. Carlos Zaragoza in the Cardiology Service of the Ramón y Cajal Hospital (Madrid, Spain), where she is doing her PhD with a grant from the Community of Madrid. She is involved in the development of an optimized Functional Tricuspid Regurgitation porcine model focused on the research of new biomarkers. This model replicates the key characteristics of the pathology, enabling a deeper understanding and facilitating a more translational approach in future studies.
