Dr. Abdel-Galil obtained his medical and dental Degrees from King’s College London & University of Khartoum followed by basic surgical & higher specialized training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the UK. He completed his residency and interface fellowship training in Yorkshire, UK, followed by further subspecialty training in the USA, where he gained comprehensive experience in maxillofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery, facial reconstruction, and aesthetic techniques. Dr. Abdel-Galil has held several prestigious consultant positions at leading medical institutions, including Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust in the UK as well as SEHA Tawam Hospital/Sheikh Tahnoon Medical City in the UAE. He is actively involved with AO as an educator and contributor to international maxillofacial surgical advancements and research. Dr. Abdel-Galil also plays a key role in the Arab Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, where he contributes to the development of training programs and the certification of future specialists in the field.
